Any student starting lessons is supposed to know, accept
and comply
with the rules of the Music School of Westchester.
TUITION
All tuition
fees must be paid to the Music School of Westchester
before the first class, by cash, check, visa or master
cards. There is a $20 service charge for returned
checks. Failure to meet financial obligations will
result in lesson suspension or termination.
REFUND
All refund
requests must be submitted in writing to Dominique
Riviere.
Refunds
will be granted only in the case of: prolonged illness
and prorated on an individual basis, minus a 4 lesson
penalty.
(No refunds
for Group Classes)
MAKE-UPS & CANCELLATIONS
Each
student is allowed to reschedule 4 lessons per school
year, provided that
the teacher is notified at latest before 9:00am on the
day of absence.
(you
must call the teacher not the school).
It is your responsibility,
from the beginning of the school year to make sure that
you have
his/her personal phone number.
Please note
that all make-ups have to be arranged directly with your
teacher. A make-up class cannot be rescheduled. There
are no make-ups for missed group classes.
All lessons
missed because of teacher absences or weather-related
closings will be made up.
When
Mamaroneck Public Schools are closed because of
inclement weather, please call the MSW after 12:30 pm, a
message will tell you if classes are cancelled.
The MSW
reserves the right to substitute any teacher with
another instructor of an equivalent background.
We expect all students to act responsibly at all times
within the school.
If your child is disrupting lessons of others we reserve
the right to expel him/her.
OTHERS
The Music
School of Westchester is not responsible for any
accidents happening to the students inside of the
building or outside.
Please DO
NOT leave your children unattended and especially in the
parking lot. We ask all Parents/ Caregivers to be on
time to pick up the child/children.
